I always wondered what the hell the point of these was. I don't really understand why people didn't just give directly to the charity instead of wasting part of the money on the damn car magnets. I guess I don't realize the smugness of some people and how they suddenly become good citizens who are "aware" of the issues plaguing the back of their vehicle. If you really want to make a gesture, give to the damn charity, or send actual care packages to our troops, because putting a magnet on the back of your car to try to make it look like you give a shit; makes you look like a fool.
It's really sad how much money is made off of these damn things and most of it doesn't see the charity it's supposed to support.
